JOT App
JOT is a daily bullet-journaling app targeting high-school end users, developed as part of a senior project for the Advanced Software Engineering course at UCSD in Spring 2022.
- As a UX Lead/Front End Developer on this project, I:
- Designed and developed HTML custom web components and implemented functionality using JavaScript for the following MVP features: creating and editing notes, customizing bullets, and typing a journal entry
- Applied user-centered design thinking, agile development, test-driven development, CI/CD, integration and E2E testing
- Delivered a stable release in under 3-months and received positive feedback in project evaluation

NASA Student Launch (2018-2019)
The NASA Student Launch is a rigorous and closely collaborative 8-month long high-powered rocketry competition among colleges and universities. Learn more about the project here!
- As a Payload Specialist on this project, I:
- Designed and built a custom unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) payload that (1) deploys autonomously once the rocket lands and (2) delivers a beacon to a randomly placed target location
- Delivered over 750 pages of technical documentation over the course of the project, detailing design and limitations, project management, and safety for review by NASA panel
- Led education engagement programs within the commmunity to fundraise entire project budget
- Completed project with a successful launch at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL
I also managed the team's social media for the duration of the project where I created content and handled online engagement from supporters and sponsors. @rocketowls
